Webtoon Writer Ko Yeon-soo and Naturalized Athlete Ma Huiri Attract Attention at the Paralympic Winter Games

Popular webtoon writer Ko Yeon-soo (32) and Ma Huiri (28), a naturalized Korean from Taiwan,

are attracting attention in the mixed ice hockey game at the 21st National Winter Sports Games for the Disabled.

Ko Yeon-soo was introduced to the sport through a training camp for new disabled ice hockey players in January last year.

He was named to the Seoul team for this year’s Paralympic Winter Games.

Ko Yeon-soo and Ma Huiri played the first game of the winter sports season against Busan on the 19th and led the team to a 6-0 victory.
