The Incheon Seo-gu Youth Baseball Team, led by head coach Kim Jong-cheol, won the Gapyeong County Supervised National Youth Baseball Tournament in Gapyeong County, Gyeonggi-do.
The Korea Youth Baseball Federation said on the 13th, “In the final of the tournament held on the 11th, Incheon Seogu Youth Baseball Team won the championship with a 7-1 victory over Bucheon City Youth Baseball Team.”
Cho Bae-sung (Hae-won-cho), who batted .637 as a hitter and posted a 0.69 ERA in four wins as a pitcher, was named the tournament’s Most Valuable Player (MVP).
“My role model is Kim Kwang-hyun, and I like his fastball and changeup because they are really cool,” said Cho.
