Suga, a member of the K-pop juggernaut BTS, will be summoned by police for questioning on suspicions that he drove an electric scooter under the influence of alcohol last week.

According to police, Sunday, the 31-year-old rapper will soon be questioned at the Yongsan Police Station in Seoul for allegedly driving an electric scooter under the influence in the Hannam neighborhood on Aug. 6.

This case came to light when a police officer found Suga lying on the ground at 11:27 p.m. Noting the smell of alcohol, the officer took him to a nearby station, where his blood alcohol content was measured at 0.227 percent, well above the 0.08 percent threshold for license revocation.

The investigation will likely focus on whether Suga was 스포츠 aware that he was violating the Road Traffic Act, which prohibits driving under the influence of alcohol.

The day after the incident, Suga released a statement admitting to drinking alcohol before riding the electric scooter but claimed he was unaware that he was breaking the law.

Violators of the law, which applies to drivers of cars and electric scooters alike, could face a maximum prison sentence of five years or a fine of up to 20 million won ($14,000) if their blood alcohol content is 0.2 percent or higher.

Since September 2023, Suga has been serving as a public service worker, an alternative form of the country’s compulsory military service.

However, the gloomy forecast was proven wrong, and the team pleasantly surprised the public.

The team won 32 medals, including 13 golds. This is 한국을 the first time in 12 years that South Korean athletes have won more than 30 medals in a single Olympics.

Many of the medals were won in shooting, fencing and archery.

Cheongju KB

Even if this series ends in Game 4, it will end on the 16th,

so KB will be able to play the championship match in a situation where it has a physical advantage regardless of who the opponent is.

This is the first time KB has advanced to the championship game two years since the 2021-2022 season,

in which it swept the regular league and championship game.

Last season, they failed to advance to the semifinals.

Cheongju KB finished the first quarter on this day with the score tied at 14-14 and started with an 8-point lead in the 3rd quarter,

but gave up 3 points in a row to Hana One Q’s Kim Si-on and Jeong Ye-rim, falling behind by 2 points.

Hana One Q veteran Kim Jong-un got two free throws but missed them all.

Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance and KEPCO

Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance and Korea Electric Power Corporation Missed Out on Spring Volleyball, “It’s a Shame the Player Base is Thin”

In men’s professional volleyball, Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance and Korea Electric Power Corporation all cited ‘thin player base’ as the reason they lost their backs at the end of the regular season.

Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance (5th place in the league) (48 points, 18 wins, 16 losses) and 6th place KEPCO (47 points, 16 wins, 18 losses) will not advance to the postseason regardless of the match held at Suwon Gymnasium in Gyeonggi-do on the 13th.

Even if both teams win the remaining two games of the regular season,

they will not be able to narrow the gap with the third-place team to within 3 points. 사설 토토사이트

Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance

Currently, 3rd place is OK Financial Group (57 points, 20 wins, 15 losses),

and 4th place is Hyundai Capital (53 points, 17 wins, 18 losses).

In the V-League, a semi-playoff (quasi-PO) single-game match takes place only when the point difference between 3rd and 4th place is 3 or less.

If Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance wins all of its remaining two games,

it can catch up with OK Financial Group by 3 points, but unfortunately,

OK Financial Group’s final opponent is Hyundai Capital, currently ranked 4th,

so Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance cannot escape 5th place.

This season, competition for rankings was fiercer than ever before,

so both Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance and Korea Electric Power Corporation are bound to have deep regrets.

Korea Electric Power Corporation

In fact, at the end of the 5th round, KEPCO was in 3rd place (47 points, 16 wins, 14 losses),

and Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance was in 5th place (44 points, 17 wins, 13 losses) and could aim for semi-PO.

However, KEPCO suffered 4 consecutive losses and Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance suffered 3 losses (1 win), missing out on a ticket to spring volleyball.

Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance coach Kim Sang-woo diagnosed,

“It was a situation where we had no choice but to lack the backbone,” and reflected,

“It was not easy to hold out until the end due to the player base and height,

but the training we had in the early part of the season turned out well.”

He said, “It’s disappointing that my performance dropped after the third round.

Kim Jun-woo’s injury also bothers me,” he said.

KEPCO coach Kwon Young-min also expressed regret, saying, “Top-ranked teams have something that warm-up zone players can do as substitutes,” and added, “(In the 6th round), the offense dropped, so the game was over.

“It didn’t go well,” he said.

He added, “The mood was down because we couldn’t play spring volleyball, but I told the players to do their best as it was the last home game.”

‘Pohang Star’ Manager Lee Seung-yeop’s Complaint: “Why Do We Always Play Pohang Games?

“I don’t know why our team keeps having matches in Ulsan and Pohang.”

Doosan Bears manager Lee Seung-yeop has unusually raised his voice and expressed strong dissatisfaction with the allocation of professional baseball games.

Manager Lee Seung-yeop frowned when asked about the three-game series against the Samsung Lions to be held at Pohang Stadium from the 20th to the 22nd of this month, ahead of the home game against the LG Twins in the 2023 professional baseball league to be held at Jamsil Stadium in Seoul on the 6th.

Manager Lee Seung-yeop said, “Last year, we went to Ulsan and then Pohang during the hot summer, and this year is the same,” and “We are the only ones playing the three-game series in Ulsan and the three-game series in Pohang.”

He continued, “It is too harsh to play on an artificial grass field in the middle of summer,” and criticized, “It has a huge negative impact on the players’ physical strength. Also, the travel distance is a problem. It is an unacceptable schedule.”

When asked, “Don’t you have many good memories of 커뮤니티 Pohang (when you were a player)?” Manager Lee Seung-yeop did not back down, saying, “I’m a manager leading the team now,” and, “If I go alone, I can go in 50-degree heat. I’ll say what I want to say.”

Pro Baseball KIA, Aldred removed New foreign player Lauer likely to be recruited

The KIA Tigers, the leader in professional baseball, are expected to say goodbye to injured short-term replacement player Cam Aldred and recruit new foreign pitcher Eric Lauer (29).

KIA removed Aldred from the first-team roster on the 5th.

A KIA official said in a phone call that day, “We are pursuing a contract with Lauer,” and “the administrative procedures have not been completed yet, but it seems like it will end positively.”

This season’s minor league record is 4 wins, 5 losses, and an ERA of 5.26.

Current foreign pitcher Will Crow was diagnosed 토토 with a partial injury to the medial collateral ligament of his elbow in May.

KIA waited for Crow to join, but due to his slow recovery, they decided to recruit Aldred while also pursuing the recruitment of a special player who can play in the postseason.

MLB White Sox, shocking 21-game losing streak ties AL’s longest losing streak

The Chicago White Sox suffered the humiliation of tying the record for the most consecutive losses in the history of the American League (AL) of Major League Baseball (MLB).

The White Sox were crushed 1-5 in an away game against the 2024 MLB Oakland Athletics held at the Oakland Coliseum in Oakland, California, USA on the 6th (Korean time).

The White Sox’s loss extended their losing streak to 21, dating back to the game against Minnesota on the 11th of last month.

“With this loss, the White Sox tied with the Baltimore Orioles for the longest losing streak in American League history,” MLB.com reported.

The Baltimore Orioles previously lost 21 straight games in the American League in 1988.

With two more losses, the White Sox would tie the MLB record for longest losing streak since the 20th century.

Since the rules of baseball were established in 1900, the 스포츠 longest losing streak in MLB history is 23, set by the Philadelphia Phillies in 1961. If we extend the period to the 19th century, the longest losing streak in MLB history is 26, set by the St. Louis Colonels in 1889.

The White Sox started Key Bush, who had never played a game in MLB, and he pitched four innings, allowing two hits, five walks, three strikeouts and three runs.

Although we didn’t get hit hard, the team’s batting lineup was too weak.

The White Sox hung their heads after scoring only one run on four hits.

The White Sox recorded 27 wins and 88 losses, a winning percentage of 0.235. They are the worst among the 30 teams.

If the current trend continues, they could even break the MLB record for most losses in a season (40 wins, 120 losses) since the 1962 New York Mets.
