Kwon Chang-hoon (Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors) and Plaka (Jeonnam Dragons) were named the Hana Bank K League 1, Round 2 Most Valuable Players (MVPs).
First, Kwon scored the game-winning goal against Daegu FC at Jeonju World Cup Stadium on Tuesday. Substituted in the 25th minute of the second half, Kwon was active on both sides of the defense and offense, and in the 40th minute, he received a pass from Lee Seung-woo and split the Daegu goal. Thanks to Kwon Chang-hoon’s performance, Jeonbuk defeated eos파워볼 Daegu 3-1 to avoid automatic relegation.
The best match of the K League 1 Round 37 was between FC Seoul and Ulsan HD at Seoul World Cup Stadium on Tuesday. Ulsan took the lead in first-half stoppage time through Go Seung-beom. Seoul responded with an equalizer from Jesse Lingard six minutes into the second half to draw 1-1.
The best team in the K League 1 Round 37 is Suwon FC. Suwon FC scored consecutive goals from Jeong Seung-won, Kim Tae-han, Jeong Seung-bae and Andersson in a 4-0 victory over Gangwon FC at Suwon Sports Complex on Sept. 9.
Jeonnam’s Plaka was named the MVP of the K League 2 Round 39.
Plaka scored two goals to lead Jeonnam to a 4-0 victory over Seoul Eland at Mokdong Sports Complex on September 9th. Plaka scored the game’s first goal in the 10th minute, followed by a wedge goal in the 32nd minute.
Jeonnam is also the best team in the K League 2 Round 39. Jeonnam won the match with Plaka, Valdivia, and Park Tae-yong on the scoresheet. The victory also secured their spot in the K League 2 semifinals.
The best match of the K League 2 Round 39 was between FC Anyang and Gyeongnam FC at the Anyang Sports Complex on the 9th. Anyang took the lead in the 22nd minute of the first half through Chae Hyun-woo’s first goal, but Gyeongnam countered with an equalizer in the 29th minute. Early in the second half, Anyang responded with a goal by Moon Sung-woo, but Gyeongnam showed determination with a second equalizer by Lee Si-heon in the 35th minute. In the end, the match ended in a 2-2 tie.
