Kim goes 2-for-2 with two RBIs against Texas, his third multi-hit game in five games

San Diego Padres outfielder Ha-seong Kim continued his hot hitting streak with a fifth straight game with a hit.

Starting at first base and batting second against the Texas Rangers at Petco Park in San Diego, California, on Tuesday, Kim went 2-for-4 with a double and two RBIs.

He’s been on a hot streak. He has hit safely in five straight games and has recorded multi-hit games in three of them.

His season batting average has risen from .274 to .277.

After a grounder to the second baseman in the first inning, Kim drew his second walk of the game in the top of the second inning to put his team up 2-0.
