PGA Tour tournament runner-up Kim jumps 10 spots to No. 16 in world rankings

South Korea’s Joo Hyung Kim is now ranked No. 16 in the world after finishing runner-up at the PGA Tour’s Travelers Championship.

The South Korean shot a 4-under-par 66 in the fourth round on the final day of the tournament in Cromwell, Connecticut, USA, to finish at 22-under-par 258 for second place.

Kim, who lost in a playoff to World No. 1 Scotty Schaeffler (USA) in a playoff, is ranked 16th in the world, up 10 spots from last week’s No. 26 ranking.

Kim’s previous career-high ranking was No. 11 in December last year.

Bryson DeChambeau (USA) is the highest-ranked LIV Golf player, moving up one spot from No. 10 to No. 9. LIV’s Yon Ram (Spain) dropped from No. 9 to No. 10.

Lim Sung-jae, who tied for third at the Travelers Championship, moved up six spots from 34th to 28th.

Ahn Byung-hoon (South Korea) followed in 30th and Kim Si-woo (South Korea) in 46th.

Kim Min-kyu, who topped the 66th Korea Open, which concluded in Cheonan, Chungcheongnam-do, on Nov. 23, jumped 182 spots from No. 419 to No. 237. 파워볼
