Doosan starter Choi Jun-ho suffers ankle ligament rupture Re-examination in 2 weeks

Bad news has come to the professional baseball team Doosan Bears. Right-handed starting pitcher Choi Jun-ho (20) has been out of action due to a partial rupture of his left ankle ligament.

A Doosan official said on the 6th, “Jun-ho Choi was diagnosed with a partial ligament rupture during a detailed examination on the 5th,” and “He will be wearing a cast for two weeks, and then will be re-examined and a rehabilitation schedule will be set at a later date.”

Choi Jun-ho was injured when he slipped while covering first base during the 3rd inning while handling a ground ball from Lee Ju-hyung in the game against Kiwoom Heroes held at Jamsil Stadium in Seoul on the 3rd.

Choi Jun-ho was replaced as is and went into the dugout 한국을 to receive treatment.
